Alcohol amenity/liability

If we leave wine or other alcohol for our guests, aren't we treading into dangerous legal territory? If they drive impaired, fall and get injured, get sick and have medical bills... is it worth possible liability issues?
Hoping someone can guide me to a formal answer. I like providing wine, seasonal beer, etc. I also have an Honesty Bar- guests leave cash or replace what they drink from a well-stocked bar with mixers. I use the cash to give my cleaner well-deserved bonuses, or to buy fun snacks or toiletries.
Thanks for tips!

Hi there
My advice is............IF in doubt, then leave it out!
Dont do it, in other words as the only 2 words that spring to my mind are ‘ ambulance chasers’ particularly from a lawyer that specialises in that sort of client.

@Jennifer940 no need for alcohol if you have doubts, you can always leave a fruit bowl or a box of chocolates, it will be equally appreciated.
