Alteration request

I've sumitted alteration request to edit the total of reservation charged over a week but requested still pending. How do I solve the problem ? I'm am new host and don't know what to do with this case. Can I cancel the reservation ?

Have you accepted the booking?

If yes, you can only edit the confirmed booking and wait for the guests to get back. If they reply for too long, you can contact thru their contact details or involve airbnb for help (last solution).

If no, you can just cancel it and resend a new booking. But bare in mind, guests may not accept the booking anymore.
