Animal Abuse

I had a guest last week kicked out because I caught him on camera kicking my cat. Upon confronting him he denied and I told him that animal abuse is not tolerated and kicked him out. He got a refund for the remainder of the booking. 

The next morning my cat was being very sensitive to me touching her stomach and I took her to the vet only to find out she had bruised ribs and it cost me over $130USD. I immediately contacted Airbnb support to see if they can help and they say they tried but only was able to convince the guest to pay me $25. I told them that I don’t want to the guest to pay for the entire thing but should pay for at least half of it and still was only able to convince the guest to pay $25. 

Airbnb support seems to not care about animal abuse and that isn’t very disappointing. 

Can anyone help me or advise me?

I think there is not much more Airbnb can do. I noticed something is written about cats in your listings and that they are not in the house. Was this incident inside the house ? BTW Not a reason to kick offcourse, but to put things into perspective.

Give the guest the review he deserves.

I am sorry for your cat and the expense you had for the vet but I AM SO GLAD  you kicked out  this idiot :)))))
