For the first time, I put my entire flat on Airbnb during my big holidays abroad. In 3 days I got two bookings! However, I didn't think about a deposit when I prepared the listing.
I realise now it makes sence to have a deposit, since the flat is newly furnished and fully equiped with very nice stuff. Moreover, the bookings were made by big groups, including one of teenagers. Now, I am wondering that forgetting a deposit was really bad luck.
Anyone has experience from a situation like this? What can I do? I was thinking to directly ask a deposit to the guest (but aparently that's not alllowed by Airbnb). Any suggestions?
