Automatic booking confirmation?

I'm new to AIrbnb hosting. In fact, I just published the listing 2 days ago. I opened the app today only to find out about 13 confirmed reservation already.

I didn't accept these requests neither did I receive any request from the guests or Airbnb.

I managed to cancel one free of charge and then found out that it's possible to cancel some if I select the options that 'I'm uncomfortable with the guest'

Unfortunately, even that option only allows three cancellations. Now, I still have 9 cancellations and O would want to cancel everything so that I can have proper control on when and who I can host. Can anybody help me resolve this issue?

I would appreciate all the help that I can get!

Before you published your listing you should make yourself more familiar with the platform.

By reading the HELP files and by checking all options precisely. As you are on Instant Book, people can book without your confirmation. To turn it off:

Cancelling reservations is not a good start for a host.You also will be penalised by Airbnb:

@Ade22, why do you want to cancel these bookings? You calendar is open but are the days not available? You should familiarize yourself with as much information as you can in the help section before you start your Airbnb journey. Especially the articles that Emiel mentions.
