Availability Calendar

Hi!  I find the availability calendar is confusing.  For instance, it shows April 3 as available instead of April 3,4,5,6. I believe this has to do with my three night minimum, but it appears to searchers that only one night is available. This is a problem. What to do? Thanks, Karen

@Karen1562  before you enter dates the availability calendar shows only available *check-in* dates. This confuses many people.

Hi  I have had a similar problem, which I have reported to Airbnb but they have stopped responding to me now, saying I can update the calendar myself! 

I have been setting trip length to 7 days minimum with a Saturday changeover day, for most of my weeks, as that is when my housekeeper is available to clean. However, I checked how my listing appears to guests under Preview, and for all of the weeks I had set those limits, only the Saturday ie one day showed as available! To guests it must appear I have only the odd Saturday free to book rather than the whole week. As I say, I have tried to explain this to Airbnb but they just tell me how to block and unblock my calendar. I have been doing this for 7 years now, so that is not the issue.

I am not sure guests looking for availaibilty rather than set dates would know this...potentially leading to fewer bookings.

Hi!  I did email AirBnB about this.  They sent me a screen shot of how my listing appears to travelers.  It was listed correctly there.  So I sent them a screen shot of how it looks in my preview, which is all wrong.  The contact person didn't know what was going on and told me to try reloading my app.  Well, as long as it is listed properly on the site, I can live with the preview being wrong.  Must be a weird glich I guess.  Thanks for your feedback! Hi Karen That's really helpful. I do hope that is right. The Airbnb specialist who helped me couldn't give me the same reassurance. Best wishes
