I have just arrived back in the UK. I was an Airbnb host in Mexico over the past few years and I'm looking to do the same here.
I am looking at cottages to rent here and I was wondering if there was anyway of finding out typical occupancy rates in different areas? So I could get an idea of profit I could gain?
I will effect my choice of area. I will be living at the property myself and renting out one or two spare rooms. I am a web designer and usually work from home, so it's not really crucial where I am. My preferred region is between Dartmoor and the Forest of Dean, but I'm open to really anywhere in the Southwest or south wales.
Any advice on how I can find out this information?
