Avoiding cancellation fee after water damage

We discovered a water leak five days before a guest was scheduled to arrive. We had to cancel the rental because sheetrock in our basement bedroom was soaked, and big fans will have to be left on for a week to dry it out. Who do I contact to avoid the cancellation fee?

@Joey30 you should have called Airbnb and have them cancel the reservation penalty free in the first place. You can also call them now, provide documentation and maybe they will remove the penalty. Follow the instructions on the link below on how to contact them.
