Hi I had a request for a booking for 5 people the calender was closed I only let one room as a single of double I return The e-mail explaining this I then get another e-mail to delcine the booking which I had already done  the only way i seem to be able to decline the booking was by stating the dates were close so AIRBNB REPLY was make sure my calendar is up to date  which is was,  the point is that I COULD NOT TAKE THIS GROUP OF PEOPLE  also I have ask for 24hrs notice between bookings AND I THINK it was  about 8hours notice what is the go here aslo doing reviews I keep getting 2or 3 emails from AIR BNB TO DO A REVIEW when they are already done  can some tell me what is going on here thanks Yvonne

Having a little trouble following you, so let's start at the beginning. From what you said, you received a booking request. To respond, you should have gone into your message thread from this guest and clicked either the accept or decline link and followed the prompts to explain the reason for declining. From what you wrote it sounds like you might have given the reason for decline that your date was already filled which auto generated the eamil to keep your calendar up to date. 

 

The emails from Airbnb are automated, you might receive one occassionally that does not quite seem to apply to your situation or is sent and received apparently after you have already completed something. Don't take them personally, just the result of a computer thinking on its own without human internvention.
