Bali regulations change and visit from Immigration

Yesterday Denpasar immigration turned up at the villa wanting to interview me.  They asked if I was renting the villa for just me or renting it out to guests.  I live in Malaysia and was not there, they spoke to my housekeeper.  From what I can gather, there may be a new regulation requiring any foreigner to obtain a permit/licence of some sort now.  Two agents I have spoken to do not know of this.  I have been asked to go to Immigration at Denpasar to be interviewed.  I fly out Wednesday.   I have never overstayed a day in Bali, I live in Malaysia on a 10 year MM2H visa, I don't work in Bali, I'm retired and all the transactions with Airbnb take place in Malaysia.  Money flows into Bali, not out of it.  70 sets of guests over 2 yrs and all 5star reviews, and I'm a Superhost.  This is bizarre!  Anyone able to throw a light on this?  Much appreciated, Roger
