Bed for one books two

Hy guys, my situation is that I have two double bedrooms and a dormitory with three beds in it. The dormitory is rented per bed, as a hostel would. To keep my calendar in order and allow different people to book the beds I created three separate listings, one for each bed, and I have written in the description that the listing is for one bed (one person) and that if the guests need more beds they should more requests (to be even more clear about it I named the listings "Three rooms bed1, three rooms bed2 and three rooms bed3). I constantly get people booking one bed and stating the number of guests as 2. This is a problem because the calendar doesn't recognize that two beds are booked and the price is only calculated for one person. I deal with this by sending a special offer for the correct price and checking the calendar manually but is there a way to fix the number of guests per bed as 1 so that no other number can be chosen?

@Ivan18, hi -

Right now EACH of your bed listings say "accommodates 3" and "extra people: no charge", which is obviously misleading people into understanding that they can come with somebody else.

In each of your single bed listings you'd have to change accommodation to "1 person". To get rid of the "extra people: no charge" which looks like it is possible to bring somebody else for free, I've read numerous times in this forum the following trick:

in your price calculations enter as charge for extra guests a ridiculous amount like 250 eu for ex.

When you save/refresh page the 'extra guests' box then will have disappeared.

And you should be able to see on your listing preview that the listing for each bed then will say it accommodates 1, and there is no extra guest remark.

Good luck.

@Andrea9 Thank you very much, I wrote everything I needed in the description bu forgot about that "detail", that will sort it out.

Just to follow up for others who might have the same problem ... I set every listing to 1 guest and additional payment to 250€ ant it did solve the problem however, I found that now my listings appear in searches only for people who are looking a place for one person wich means I would have a lot less requests than before. So, what I did is I returned the setting of each listing to 3 but put a charge for additional guest the same as the price for one which means if someone chooses 2 guests the price will double and if they choose 3 it will triple. This will create inaccuracies in my calendar but it is something I can fix manually, the important thing for me is that the guests have the correct information about the price.
