@Gabrielle1 - I stayed here in Portland and LOVED the experience. The host has several tiny homes on one property and the guests staying in each have common areas to meet and mingle in (fire pit, picnic tables, etc.). Highly suggest checking it out if you're ever in Portland: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/1407879
That's a nice list. A few seem bigger then my place - had not thought to call it a miniature. It's in Paris, not very far from the center: https://fr.airbnb.com/rooms/217377
After remodelling our space, we found a book, The Magic of Small Spaces which is still available and shows very fine exemples of tiny houses.
well, if they would bring back keyword search it would be alot easier to find these kinds of special listings... Write to airbnb and ask them to bring back keyword search.
Aw this is @Andrée2's listing. Andrée your listing looks fantastic and very cosy. 🙂
Thanks for sharing @Ana7.
Yes, @Andre has such an incredible eye for details, I fell in love with the barn as soon as I saw it.
A month ago I also saw some tiny listings in South Germany, room in a huge barrel (for wine or something like that), but I can't find them now.
We just restored one in July . . . although by "tiny" house standards it is huge (656 sft). But what is fun is that our A-Frame village is the "throwback" version of the tiny home village from 1969--there are 11 units on a beautiful 7 acre oceanfront space.
I would love for Airbnb to put in a keyword search option (I understand they had it once before my time). For hosts, there is a "host voice" section, where people can put in suggestions/ideas directly to the company. If enough people like, or respond (20, I think), the the message gets flagged for review by the company. Is there a "guest voice" option? If so, I would encourage you to put this suggestion straight to the company. If enough people do, it might work...
