Booking settings and Calendar

When I changed my booking settings to only checking in on Saturday and only checking out on Saturday, I signed out of Airbnb to check how my calendar appears to customers. Unfortunately, Airbnb calendar shows check-in and check-out days in exactly the same way as availability days - i.e. my calendar shows that the property is entirely booked up for every day of the year, except Saturdays (leaving customers thinking they can only stay on one day, Saturday, as all the other days are already booked up). In conclusion, Airbnb needs to have different ways of showing availability compared to checking in/out days. Please can this be arranged. Many thanks.

That's most unfortunate.

Have you tried to do custom weekly booking settings?

You may like to use related keywords here in CC as there's likely to be a quick solution and explanation how to fix the issue.

Make sure in the meantime that you write that your listing is indeed available from Saturday to Saturday so potential Guests can see you are not fully booked.

I'm sure one of the regulars who comes in here will have the easiest solution.

Thanks Helen but I cannot use that workaround X 52 weeks. The solution is for Airbnb to display its calendar more accurately and meaningfully - but in my experience it is impervious to feedback and reluctant to change: the message is always to accept the status quo. Very odd for a new software company.

Thanks for your input and how do I escalate this issue to a technical expert member of staff.
