So angry! At 6am, day of Check In, guests is trying to book a “coworker” to stay in my home. After hours of why & telling them how to get the Stranger Unaffiliated with Airbnb to send a request, they cancelled. Airbnb refunded, I incurred the penalty and the guest pretended they didn’t know the rules after joining in 2016. Apparently guests don’t have to follow rules. What I’m really burnt about, is No Negative Impact for the guest to put some dude in my house, at Great Risk to my family, other Airbnb Guests in my home, & Airbnb!
@Maria-Elena11 What do you mean by "penalty"? Hosts are only supporsed to be penalized if they are the party that cancels.
Third party bookings aren't allowed on Airbnb but businesses, example Human Resources booking for employees is allowed.
