I just assumed that Airbnb meant, apart from the history of 'Air', bnb stands for bed and breakfast. However, I do not see breakfast talked about much or on many listings. I am new at this, and quickly realized that in providing breakfast, often cooked, that I was not going to be left with much $, after extra power, cleaning and the other minor expenses. What do other's do? And should the price reflect this? And how?
Thank you Sarah for the hosting information and advice. I'm much relieved to understand this. I particularly appreciated the adage - offer less and deliver more. I will act on it immediately.
No. I have at least fifteen lovely local cafes within a one to five minute walk. And guests have full access to my kitchen and like to prepare their own as well as eat out. @Jeroen65
The majority of places we clean offer breakfast usually cereal and milk. You could also supply bread butter jam e.c.t but I would advise small pots as have to be new for each guest.
how do you find out if your listing says you offer breakfast as standard, or not, and hence needs to be switched off if not? I have followed the instructions in this thread but can't find out if my listing does or not (i presume if I can't find any mention of breakfast on my public listing then it's not included)? I will of course have tea and coffee making facilities as well as crossiants available as standard)
