I got an inquiry, guest said the payment has been take out from his account. it says on my end its CLOSED. my guest did not succed in uploading his id. after more than 10 hrs the 'CLOSED' note became 'SPECIAL OFFER'. and it became a Cancelled Reservation.
Does it mean its totally cancelled and my guest need to start from beginning again?
This happened to me once as well - the guests started a booking without first completing their id-procedure. They will have to start again - but make sure to remind them to complete the id-issue before booking. The booking system is not perfect in this matter - hopefully it will be improved in the future.
