Calendar Conflict

Hi All!

I am brand new to hosting and have a question. I have a potential guest that reached out to me about reserving my room for 2 weeks in October. They went online today to actually make the reservation, however, it tells him the dates are not free. When I look at the calendar they are free although I have 2 pending reservations that I need to respond too. Is that why he's not able to reserve the room? Thank you in avance!

Yes, @Melissa117. You will need to respond to those pending reservations to clear your calendar.

Also, @Melissa117, as a new host, you should make yourself very familiar with AirBnB's site, help section, this community, etc. Get to know everything you can as soon as possible so you don't unwittingly get into trouble. Some hosts suggest snoozing your listing while you do this. Up to you, but you will find the better informed you are, the better experience you will have. All the best!

The same thing just happened to me. New host, someone wanted to book, but my calendar wasn't free...It had already been booked but I got the inquiry before I got notice of the booking.

Does everyone make reservations on Friday at the same time 🙂
