@Josh51 Besides what @Debby-And-Kevin0 mentioned, there's a misleading message that AirBnB sends to hosts when a guest has asked AirBnB to have the host cancel. The message coyly mentions that the guest wants to cancel and then asks if that's okay with you. If you approve that, AirBnB treats it as if the cancellation came from YOU, not from the guest. And then they do the usual in host-cancel situations -- block your calendar, charge you a penalty to be withheld from future earnings, etc.
Do you recall getting a message like that from AirBnB?
