Calendar still show not available

HI

I had to cancel a guest who booked one night during a time that I am away and have no one to welcome him. I can host for a longer period at that time bit not for this night only. My is this date blocked on the calendar if it has being cancelled?

The date is blocked on your calendar because you cancelled the guest's booking. This is just one of the penalties Airbnb imposes on hosts who cancel.
