Can I change the payment method on a pending reservation?

Can you please help me change the payment method to the recent pending reservation?

@Liza47 If your reservation has been accepted by the host or if you booked an Instant Book listing, then, no, you cannot change your payment method since it has already been charged.  

On the other hand, if you sent a reservation request and it hasn't yet been accepted by the host, you can cancel the request and then re-book with another payment method. 

An alternative is to cancel the confirmed reservation and then re-book, but you need to check out the host's cancellation policy.  Most hosts would be willing to refund you if they know that you are cancelling because you want to change payment methods.
