Can you turn off Instant Book for certain dates?

Hello!

I can't seem to find an answer to my questions:

Can you turn off Instant Book for specific dates? I would like to turn off Instant Book for Mardi Gras, because I would rather vet those trying to stay with me to make sure it's no large groups or crazies inviting everyone they know.

Don't think so, no. Put it first up on the listing description - NO INSTANT BOOK FOR MARDI GRAS and then again in the house rules. Should someone book for Mardi Gras using IB and you are unhappy with them, you can cancel.

I noticed this question was asked 9 months ago. Any updates? I have a simuilar situation as Mardi Gras.

It's not possible - Instant booking can only be exclusively on or off.

One possible workaround is to duplicate your listing without instant booking activated and only open up your hot dates on this duplicate- plus block your selected dates on your usual listing and have two listings running in tandem.
