I find it appalling that the strict cancellation can simply be arbitrarily applied by the case officer ignoring the owner´s demonstrable proof that the reasons for it were not valid (which Airbnb admits) and the pictures supplied by the guest were- again demonstably- "doctored " , and when I have only five star reviews across the board, when the guest has not returned my keys, did not advise me prior to his departure and when ther is no proof whatsoever that he did not use the facility for two as opposed to one night
The case officer appears to be authorised to remove 600.00€ from my account just like that a his discretion.
I would like to appeal but I am told that the case officer´s decision is final even if he has taken no notice of my sid of the story at all
How can I be sure that my strict cancellation policy is respected, to whom should one refer cases like this please ? To whom is the case officer accountable ?
