Cancelations and blockings

Hello,

I've just opened my account and I have a problem. Namely, I wasn't aware of the instant book option. So what happened is that somebody booked my room for the dates that I had already promised to another person who also contacted me via Airbnb, so I had to cancel it. But now, Airbnb blocked the dates so the other person interested in apartment cannot book it now. Could you tell me what can I do to sort it out?

First, turn Instant Book off.

Second, it's nice that you wanted to give it to the person you "promised" on Airbnb - but it really would have been better to keep the booked reservation and kindly tell the first part you were mistaken and the dates are unavailable.

One of the penalties of cancelling a reservation is Airbnb blocked those dates on your calendar so NO ONE can cancel.
