Canceled reservation as a host

Hello, 

I am very new to AirBnb and had Instant Book turned on. Somoene booked my place for one night even though I wanted a guest who would stay a minimum of 3 nights.  I had to cancel their reservation, but now my calendar is showing booked for that one night because I canceled.  How do I get that date back to showing available? It's in the middle of the week, and I have guests who want to stay for several nights, but I cant book them because that date is showing up blocked.

Please advise ASAP.  Thanks.

Only they can swich on  your calendar again. Never cancel a booking yourself, the dates will get blocked. In this case, something went wrong, because  you had  your preferences set on  minimum 3 days.

You have to put in Minimum night settings for the weekends, dates, weeks, whatever if you want guests to stay longer.  Do this in the Calendar view under Availability Settings.  About halfway down, will see a place for additional rules.

Hello, I am totall unaware of instant booking and have received a confirmation of booking for the 25th December. I have spent hours trying to cancell the booking and make sure that this does not happen again. Please assist me in cancelling instant booking as well as cancelling Maria's booking.
