Hi, I received an inquiry on our home and the guest decided not to reserve and cancelled the reservation herself. However, I was charged a $50 cancellation fee. I understand that if I cancelled it that I would pay the $50, but why do I pay the $50 when the guest cancelled the reservation?

PS...I can't find the Airbnb customer service number anywhere...does someone have it?
When a host cancels, Airbnb penalizes hosts. I think it sends a message that cancellation is not an easy solution not to be taken lightly. Hosts will also be excluded from attaining Super Host for 1 yr.
