@David1536 I agree with what Air BNB rep did except for any penalties. Air BNB has to help guests whether stupid or drunk or stupid drunk. Guests lose and misplace keys so a plan B is always needed. As @Cynthia-and-Chris1 posted, perhaps you had best have your phone on when guests are in the house.
I suggest you contact Air BNB directly regarding any penalties such as Super Host criteria and blocked dates (if the booking is longer than a single night). You should not have thoses levied.
