I cancelled a guest on the request of the guest. Now I am unable to book out the days and it came up under my reviews that I cancelled. How do I amend these changes?
You cannot. Calendar being blocked is one of the penalties for host cancellation. You are penalized and the guest goes free. Never cancel on a guest if you want to avoid penalites.
@Chelsea11 The guest asked YOU to cancel because if they had canceled, they would've had to pay AirBnB's service fee. They might not have been aware of the "price" that the host pays if the host cancels, but now you're paying that price. As @Marit-Anne0 said, never cancel unless you truly have no other choice.
