Cancellation

My host accepted full payment in Sept 2018 for a holiday in July 2020, in Sept 2019 he then sent a message saying airbnb had made a mistake with the price and that either I or him would need to cancel the booking.  I told him that as I had paid in full in good faith and he had accepted the payment I would not be cancelling and so far I have heard nothing more.  What is going to happen now, he obviously wants me to cancel so that he can resell the villa which is totally unfair.

If you aren't able to figure out a solution with the host, I would suggest calling Airbnb customer service & see how they can help.
