Cancellation

Hi.
I am very ill and I have 100% licence from work until.monday.Even so I have no cancelled any guest because I did not find how to send documentation if it and I can not afford the penalties.I feel very ill and I can not keep the house at the standard I offer.I want to cancell future reservation in may and june since my health is bad and it has been to much for me to receive guests in this condition. How I can cabcell without paying penalty?I wrote to my guests.They agree on me cancelling but I see if I cancell all the reservation I ll have to pay more than what I get per one night. Has anyone experience with it?I did not find how to send documentation and I have received guests, but I can not continue doing so.Karen

@Karen-Lynn0 Have you contacted Airbnb about this?  Yes, they do require documentation to prove Extenuating Circtumstances.   Do you know anyone who can help you scan your documentation so you can send to Airbnb?  Or is there a printing / supply company you can use to fax the documentation to Airbnb?  It sounds like you in a desparate situation which needs to be resolved.   Here's a helpful link for contacting Airbnb

I have tried to contact airbnb without getting any reply. I have documetnation I have been ill until monday, sicne it is an ongoing process. The guests are comming in may and I do not knwo if Airbnb will accept documentation for todays date. I have not reply so far, and a guest who want me to cancell since she got another reservation a well. I can not afford paying such a fees and withour a reply fromt he company i do not know what to do

@Karen-Lynn0, inform the the guest who wants to cancel that she must do this herself. Did she make a booking somewhere else after learning that you were ill? If so, there is a procedure in place for you to reimburse her the AirBnB service fees via the Resolution Center.

Yes, it is whathappen. i cancelled today because airbnb center do not reply and if I ait more I will have to pay 100 dollar instead of 50 dollars. She denied to cancell the reservation. She said it was my fault that she book in another place since I informed I am ill and looking for a solution, of course she did not reply until I replied I have found friends who could help me keeping the house clean and receiving her. Then I have got so many messages that I gave up. i am actually ill and I do not ahve energy to get her messages and wait for airbnb to reply. It is very frustrating to contact airbnb.
