Cancellations

We recently denied a guest because we were afraid he was going to party at the property and wreck the place.  We cancelled the reservation less than 24 hours after he instant booked it.  How can we get the dates back as "available" on our calander?

Good luck getting any help of ANY kind. If you cancel a guests revs. Airbnb will probrevs.get **bleep** with YOU. They're great at taking your money any not helping the host AT ALL.

Please ignore Amy's message. As an instant book host you are allowed three cancellations per year for situations just like this. Call 1-415-800-5959 (local San Francisco number) or 1-855-424-7262 / 1-855-4-AIRBNB (toll-free) and ask for them to clear your calendar.

I FINALLY figured it out since there was nothing on the website:

(1) Go to your calendar and you'll see blocked dates in grey.

(2) Click on the grey date you want to make available and DRAG to either the end of the month or the last day you want unblocked. DON'T TRY AND DO THIS USING THE BOXES ON THE RIGHT - THEY DON'T WORK!

(3) Click on the "Available" box on the right instead of the blocked box. This will unblock those dates.

For multiple months, you have to go through each month from the 1st to the end of the month... drag to the end of the month... click "Available". You have to do this for every month.

That only works if you have not cancelled a guest - what you describe is accurate for changing dates from blocked to unblocked on your calendar and you can do it as often as you like. But where you cancel a guest, wthout speaking first to AirBnB all they see is you messing up a guests travel plans and they block the dates permanently
