Cancelling bookings

I am thinking of putting my house up for sale. What happens if I have bookings and my house sells?

You cancel them and get duly penalized, financially if more than one (I believe) booking cancelled.

@Stacey17 you really must the period you are opening up your house for rentals so that you don't risk having bookings after you have sold and left the house. It looks bad on you and on Airbnb and is deeply unfair on guests who have booked.

@Stacey17  When you sell your home and you have reservations that are beyond the sale date, you or the guest should contact Air BNB and request assistance in relocating the guests to appropriate and acceptable listings.  This allows the guest to have a reservation change without losing the Air BNB fee.  If you are just in the thinking stage, you might only allow a short booking time by going to your Availability Setting and selecting Booking Window and select 3 months.
