Change of guests request

I have a guest who just informed me that he will not be coming to stay but has 4 "friends" who will fulfill the reservation on his account. Can I cancel without penalty as I am not comfortable with a non account holder staying with us.

Yes-- third-party bookings are not allowed. Call Airbnb to cancel for you penalty-free; don't do it through the platform.

@Lori202   You have a gorgeous home!  I am surprised this issue has not come up given you have 40 reviews and are a successful host.  I do recommend you add a rule to your listing that there are no 3rd party reservations accepted and only registered guests are permitted on the property. Just a thought!
