Changing future rentals to bedroom?

Hello,

I'm a new host of Airbnb and I'm beyond excited. I've booked a handful of apartment rentals and want to change my future rentals to a bedroom. I'd love assistance on this!

I think what you are saying is you currently rent out an entire property, but going forward you just want to rent out a room. 

What you can do is just add an additional listing (in the Your Listings section) for the bedroom.

Remember to block out the calendar for the entire property from the date onwards. Also, if the bedroom is in the same property  you currently rent out, then remember to block out the immediate dates that are not available.

I believe that once you have completed all reservations for the 'entire property' listing  you will be able to remove it, but not until then.

@Brooke13 the alternative to what @Gerry-And-Rashid0 have said is to change the listing from Entire Place to Private Room. You can do this (on PC/laptop) from Host -> Manage Listings -> Calendar and More -> Basics then go to the Listing section and change the dropdown.

That's easier! Do you know if you can do this if you still have outstanding reservations for the entire property? Does it mean the existing ones just sit as a reservation, but with no attached listing?
