City Ordinances

City Ordinances

I am just registering to be a host. Before publishing my listing, (It's Sunday and no city offices are open) , I'm wondering do most cities require you to inform them about renting your home on a nightly basis? Do they want you to pay a fee for doing so???

@Judy186 It is the tax offices that are the most interested in who rents what (and to whom). In some places there are further restrictions due to hotels' outcry about lost revenues.

Norman Oklahoma recently passed an ordinance retroactively to June of last year.
Ridiculous hoops to jump through. My question is, how did they get our property address??
