Basically contact the guest before your next guests check's in about the damage, take photo and video evidence, if the guest won't pay involve Airbnb and claim against your deposit/their Guarantee.

Ok I had guest damage my house plus took some items. AIRBNB is awful when it comes to this. I am superhost have been doing this for 5 years..I about to take Airbnb to court also go to VIBO they have insurance pollicy I don't have to deal with the guest. I just take a picture of what the damage is and they send a check..I am in business for my self I deal with claims everyday..Us reaching out to the guest is a BIG NO NO they of course will say they didn't do it..If I am a host and super host at that I tell you they damage my house then they should send a check. Now if you do it more then a few times yes research it..We also can't have camera on the inside which I would want to do anyway but dang to prove a point
