Cleaners ruined my reputation

Hi

I have Units in Brisbane and I would like to warn you all, about hiring external cleaning services. While I was overseas, I decided to continue my Airbnb hiring WATERMARKS CLEANING SERVICES

they told me that their standards were high, and I trusted them. Big mistake, the next client, after the cleaner did the job, complained that the unit was not up to standards and sent me a list with all the cleaning problems she found which already was embarrassing! To make the story short, I had to reimburse my client, my reputation went rock bottom and ended up losing the money that I paid to this Watermarks cleaning. The worse was the terrible reply I got from this service, after all the problems they caused me they insulted me by txt and told me to go to hell!! ...

Lesson for me, if I cannot clean then I don’t do Airbnb...

@Claudia659   I'm sorry you had this experience. I would never trust any company's own hype of themselves, I'd make sure to get references, google them to see if others were pleased or had complaints.

I'm not sure what you mean that it ruined your reputation- I read through3 pages of reviews and didn't see any that mention the poor cleaning. If they sent you these comments in private feedback, no one will see them.

I had a great cleaner myself, but she got a full-time job, so I lost her. But even when she came to clean my whole house, I always did the guest room and guest bathroom myself. Even though she was a really good cleaner, I was just afraid something might get missed.
