Co-host

Hello! I am an airbnb host working hard to get a superhost status 🙂 Now a friend of mine asked me to be a co-host of his place. I think I would help him with communication/messages with guests only, as he is English is no good. I wonder if it happens that he is not a good host (he is new to airbnb) will it affect me? Does a guest review a cohost too? Or only a host? Thank you in advance for your advise 🙂 Maryna

Hello Maryna,

I am a Superhost and co-host in NYC. I can verify that the reviews for the listing that I am a co-host on do not impact my host rating - they are completely independent. Therefore, if you are a co-host for a listing that receives a poor review, your host rating and quest for Superhost status will not be affected. Good luck!
