Hi! I have a group of 5 staying 8 nights. Typically, no matter how long the stay, I will leave enough toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags to get them started through the first couple days. This guest is stating that she has stayed in the area before and has been provided enough of these items for her entire stay. I’m just wondering how others do this. When I first got started almost 2 years ago, it was recommended to me by a current host that if I leave too much of anything it will be wasted or taken.

It's irrelevant what other hosts offer.

Presumably you make it clear up front in your check in instructions/visitor guide  that you leave a starter pack for household basics and further supplies are available at xxx

Personally I don't restrict toilet rolls. I don't provide kitchen paper as it's not essential  and not great environmentally .
