I’m very frustrated after my guest that left today. They book 2 adults and an baby, I repeatedly try to reach out, to find the age of the baby. Pac n play, crib , or bed? We have to pull furniture out of basement depending on age! Then when they finally respond, it’s 3 adults and an infant.  And they’d be here “soon” I said the booking said 2 adults and their response was,” we are very close”. So I finish getting the place ready, and I have an injured dog, so I take her elsewhere to keep her calm(She almost lost a leg)... I kept reaching out to the 3 guests, asking if everything is ok, telling them there will be coffee, eggs and English muffins, for breakfast, so the can just come in and relax....I reached out several more times, and even came home to my house (separate guest house) so I’d be visible if needed... then just figured they were enjoying their time.... at 11 they promptly leave but you think they could  have lifted a finger? Wet towels everywhere, pans w food in them , a pile of trash and diapers!?!?   Either I’ve been spoiled w excellent guest or I’ve landed on another planet! Is this right? They sure did enjoy the breakfast food!🥴

Amidst your turmoil... did you manage to handle the extra charge for the additional guest as well?

I'm hoping you did. 🙂

I don’t know how to do that, I have a hard time navigating this whole sight. It’s really not user friendly. I am pretty good with a computer, but can never get where I want to here! I’m surprised I found my posting!

It seems your guest managed to get away with not paying for the extra guest too! You can amend this on your dashboard in this guests booking under 'change or cancel'.

 

They probably loved that you didn't charge them extra, that you allowed them to leave your place a mess and will probably give you a good review if you allow them all this leniency. 

 

You can, and should change the booking for the extra guest but that should be done before allowing them to stay. You've had to provide more bedding and more breakfasts for free. Hopefully they'll give you a 5* and glowing review for your trouble. You could charge them now, after they've stayed but it would likely only earn you a bad review instead.

Please leave a one star review and warn hosts. Keep pictures in case Airbnb balks about the rating so you can show them how disgusting the guests were.
