Condo building bylaws vs city regulations

Hi Everyone,

I'm the co-host of a condo that belongs to a friend who bought this place recently. I spent months to prepare it. It's in a city where airbnb is not outlawed. The city has not charging hotel tax yet but they do not forbid it. However, the management says that the bylaws prohibit it, short term rentals are off. However the building has parking space. In the bylaws they forbid tenant parking. I know for a fact that the tenants are using the parking and the owners are putting adds offering a parking space. I asked for sometime to respond to their (are you doing airbnb here?) questions. What should I do?

Air BNB Terms require that hosts abide by all regulations affecting the listing, @Ozgun0.  Best you work this out with the HOA before listing the condo.  Many insurance plans are voided if the place is a short term rental which is why the HOA does not allow STR.  You might be able to list it with a minimum of 30 days as most HOA allow "subletting" or long term rentals.
