Confirmed booking, guest intends to cancel, using to negotiate rate on a future stay

Guest booked for 27 nights a month from now (April 2019).  Messaged me to say he won't be coming until June now. Wants the same April rate in June.  Refusing to cancel his April reservation (my policy is flexible).  It's not right when they request a change and can hold the current booking with no intention of checking in. What can I do? For weeks now my place has looked like it is booked for all of April and other guests can't book.

 

Does Airbnb have a number we can call?

How annoying. 

It varies based on country. It is easier to go into the

booking itself->  details and scroll down to “help” ->if you scroll down to the end it will say “contact us” -> “something else” -> “Call us”. 

 

Doing it this route will allow the person on the other side know who is calling, the account connected (if your number is listed) and so forth.
