Hello, new to airbnb & wishing it was a little easier to navigate., I posted a price & when payout shows up it's much lower..Then I have interested renter & she says it's shows much higher then she originally saw..please advise..Not feeling comfortable & may just cancel
Do you have Smart Pricing turned on? If so, did you set a minimum that you are comfortable with - not Airbnb's suggested minimum?
To check, go to your Calendar, then click "Pricing Settings" above it.
@Tricia96 Airbnb uses your listing price, charges a 3% fee on your end and charges 6-12% (plus any taxes required in your area) to your guest.
So, if you charge $100 a night, your pay out will be $97, the guest's bill will be $106-$112 (plus any taxes).
Is what you're seeing much lower?
@Mikki0~ thank you..A potential customer asked why she was booking rental for $1000 , but when she actually went to book it , was 1600$ . I said I wasn't sure , I'm new & the cost is definitely not $1000
