County letter requiring 30 day stay

Hi Forsyth County just issued a letter to me and several of my neighbors stating we must stop renting for less than 30 days. This will make me stop air B and B as we all live on the lake and count on the income from summer months. 

Is there anything we can do?

This is happening in many areas, @Cindy258.  You could change your minimum stay to 30 days and see if someone would like to rent it for an extended period.  At least give it a try.  Read the Air BNB articles in the Help Center about long term hosting as both the payouts and cancellation policies are different.  Another thought is if you change to a shared home lisitng, that is, you rent a bedroom or two while you are in the space simultaneously, the county restriction may not apply.  That is true in many cities.  Good luck!
