Does Airbnb notify you if a guest uses a coupon to pay? Does the host lose money if I use one?

According to my knowledge host does not get to see if guest used a coupon.

This reduction is only between Airbnb and guest anyway, and does not influence host payout.

The short answer is yes - you use it once and that’s it. However I remember a few people successfully getting the credit back after tortuous interaction with Airbnb. So the advice is use it for a booking you are certain about
