Coupon and reservation change

Hi there,

I have already made a reservation and redeemed my superhost coupon. Because of my personal reasons

I have to change the dates of my reservation. Before the last part of the reservation change I have realised

I will be charged in full. Is it possible that my coupon will not be used as a part of the payment for my new reservation?

I think you can use the coupon just once and if you cancel then the coupon is lost, 100$ worth coupon will not be refunded and you can't use it again.

I am not sure but I've already seen similar posts here on CC.

but I thought if you alter your reservation from let's say June 10.-15.  to June 20-25. and your host accept it then you will not be charged anything extra ( assuming the host have the same price for both periods )

Thank you Branka & Silvia for the reply. I dont wanna cancel but just alter the reservation. The price is the same for both periods. At the firts step of the 'reservation change' there is a price difference overview to see if there are any differences in pricing. Below this overview there is written 'Your payment plan' and there I can see the amounts and dates I will be fully charged. No mention of a coupon discount. Just the amounts and when I will be charged. Therefore I understand the coupon will not be used if I alter the reservation. Strange.
