Credit Card Charged Unexpectedly

My guest needed to extend her reservation but we thought that she would have to put in her credit card information again but she did not. Was her card charged? Also, we tried to cancel afterwards (hopefully that was successful) so that her card would not be charged at this time. Please help because we were not counting on her card being charged immediately it will cause an issue with her banking.

The card information stays on the site. If a payment is unsuccesful, it will say so. Any refunds take up to 7 days. If it didn't give the unsuccessful message, she will have been charged.

I recently had a guest who was charged twice as she put wrong date or forgot to add a guest. Either way when addressed about issue as she caught it first whe she went home overseas with her husband and they were great as all I had to do was accept the duplicate booking. The reason they were charged twice was that it was instant booking the same day so moving forward have all correct info and resolve when with host if there cannot be changes as auto book just really makes it is what it is lol and only can be changed by request to Airbnb by either party and it left my account the same day and when I saw she was charged twice and not because she cancelled bid in another place came back as last option as we discussed what needed to be added or changed to accept it and was very easy but neither us realized until after her stay they charged twice which makes sense if sh wast Doing it to make it more accurate as I asked to have those changes made.
