I contacted the resolution center about this issue but did not receive any helpful information:
I had a guest check out and when I went to clean my place I noticed that in one of my closets the floor had been burned by what appears to be an iron.
I contacted the guest immediately, they adamantly denied that they went into the closet much less used the iron or burned the carpet. However, before the guest checked in I left the closet door open, the floor was in great condition…came home afterward and the door was shut and now the burn and stain (looks like after the burn happened they tried to clean it and rubbed the black into the carpet). What can I do? When I contacted the resolution center they said i needed to request money from the guest.... the guest denies ever doing anything - so now I'm not sure on what to do.
Any help/suggestions would be great!
