Decline rate?

Decline rate?

Is there such a thing as a decline rate for hosts?  And does it show up when potential guests are looking at your listing?

At least one conversation on the forums mentioned it, but I don't see it anywhere on my profile that I can tell. . . .

If a guest doesn't seem appropriate for your listing or unmanageable for you, you are free to decline them with no penalty. Just make sure that when you are completing the decline drop down screen, you uncheck the box that wants to automatically block the dates that the declined guest was proposing.

The late discovery that your calendar has been unnecessarily blocked all week is a self inflicted penalty in and of itself.

Cancelling a reservation is where you start to earn penalties.

Hello @Lina21,

I fully agree to @Andrée2's statement, but I am not sure if you decline too often (eventually also depending on which reason you select) this may have impact on your listing such way that it will be moved down in the search results.
