Hi guys, I am fairly new to air BNB and have had to decline my first guests as they wanted to stop the night before I had a large booking due to arrive so I apologised and said I wouldn’t be available to change the bedding or clean the room in time so I am ever so sorry but I have had to decline the booking.
when I have declined the booking does air BNB notify the gust that this has happened? As I’m worried they will turn up and not see I have declined the booking ?
When you decline a reservation request, there will be no confirmed reservation. You can als check this in your "list of reservations". Offcourse the guest will be notified of the decline, so he/she knows having to book another accomodation.
Hi thank you for the reply, it just threw me when I saw the message off the guest in my inbox saying we can’t wait to meet you when I declined the request I didn’t see this before hand so was just worried they might not get notified of the cancellation.
