Delayed payout & how to contact airbnb?

Hello,

I have a new guest already staying at my apartment since January 11th, but payment has't received yet. How can I contact AIrbnb staff and ask for help???

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you had an email to say they have started the payment process? You receive this approx 24 hours after your guest checks in. So you would have received this approx the 12th.

 

Then it depends on what your payout preference is: generally PayPal is immediate - and by that I mean you get the email and within seconds the money is in your PayPal account. 

 

If you are using a bank then you need to factor in weekends ( non working days such as bank holidays) plus the fact that it usually takes a few days for bank transfers to reach you.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I use PayPal as a payout method. Just found Airbnb contact phone number (strange that it is not easy to find), called them and was told that there was a problem with my guest credit card, the first transaction was declined, but the second time it went through well. I haven't received any notification from AirBnb via email though 😞

Am I covered by Airbnb in case guest's credit card is declined again?
